Quick question about elite tomes
I heard that elite tomes are exempt from loot scaling so that means that if it drops every1 in the party gets it. Right?
Henchmen also take some of the spoils from the loot. So if I???m farming elite tomes for myself would be better to take full henchmen parties so if it drops for the henchman it would be available for me as well. Because then there is more of a probability for me to get the tome. Is that right or am I mistaken? ty for your help |

Exemption from loot scaling means that the percentage chance of an elite tome dropping is the same whether you are alone or have a full party. Only one drops at a time and only for one party member at a time. It's not like a chest where every member of the party can open it (if they have keys/lockpicks)

When it says "exempt from loot scaling" it means if you go out on your own and farm for tomes, they should drop as though your one character was considered as a party of 8 - if that makes any sense.
In short...don't take henchmen if your sole aim is to farm for things exempt from loot scaling...you'd be better farming solo. |
